Psychology the newest science

We began the year learning about the ancient roots of Psychology but when thinking about it the majority of psychology and the facts we have learned so far are fairly new. When learning about the medical imaging devices and how they allowed us to advance our knowledge of the brain we were really able to understand the age of all these facts. These imaging devises such as the MRI, fMRI, CT scan, and PET scan were only made in the past century or so. Since then psychologists have been able to study patients with these devises to accurately map out the brain and the functions of each part. Thinking about this really allows us to realize how fast our world is moving.
